We had to get our dog in for an emergency visit, and we didn’t hear back from any of the veterinary clinics in town. Luckily, Leitchfield Vet Clinic called us back immediately. We were able to get her in and have surgery within a few days. The staff there was wonderful, and their prices are more than fair! I think we found our new vet clinic!

Dr. Thomas was excellent with my little Peanuts! She was thorough. She took her time with him. He had a face-to-face with her for a good 20 minutes! She took the time to read his record! The fees were very fair! Look forward to a long relationship for all my pets to go to her!

Dr. Poole is absolutely amazing! I recently had a really stressful vet visit with my dog, Opie. Dr. Poole was so patient and gentle with him, taking the time to explain everything she was doing and making sure he felt as comfortable as possible. What was a terrible experience turned out to be manageable because of her expertise and caring approach. I highly recommend Dr. Poole to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate vet!

This place is wonderful. Staff are pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful. Doctors Ray and Nikki are wonderful, caring people. They always explain things thoroughly and answer any and all of your questions, and provide personal attention to you and your fur babies. Been a client there for over 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Leitchfield Vet is a great place to take your dogs. Super helpful staff, and the vets are very kind. Definitely recommend them for all your dog’s health issues.

We take both our dogs. They performed surgery on one who had many fat tumors that were impeding his walk. No infections! Caring staff. Ability to call ahead for same-day appointments.
