Dr. Todd Ray grew up in Vine Grove, KY where he was born with a natural love for animals. He attended Western Kentucky University for his undergraduate studies before entering veterinary school at Auburn University. Dr Ray married Denise Phillips Ray from Louisville, Ky in 1990 so she has endured, not only his educational years, but his long hours of work for many years. After graduating in 1994, he practiced at a mixed animal clinic in the SE Minnesota area for approximately 5 years before deciding to return home to Kentucky. Dr. Ray and Denise purchased Leitchfield Veterinary Clinic in 2011.
When not in the hospital caring for patients or making a farm call, Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with his family, riding horses, hunting, and tending to his motorcycle. The family of four children (Justin, Kaleb, Gavin, and Taylor) seem to keep him busy when not in the office. Family is a top priority for Dr. Ray and he hopes it is for you as well.
